Residential hall (RH) councils are made up of freshmen students living in residential communities. Each dorm or dorm grouping has a council that consists of honors students who live there. Councils are led by a pair of Co-Presidents. Dorm based councils plan programming for their residential hall.
Residential hall programming
These councils will plan at least 2 large events in their residence hall over the semester, including academic, service, and social events. These events require council planning including reserving space, finding a speaker, ordering food, soliciting donations and marketing the event. Recent examples of large events include a trivia nights, a card trains, blanket making and donations, a talk from a professor, or a holiday party.
